The reciter: "The servant has truly succeeded who is a believer *** What have I stored up for him of goodness"
The Shaykh : ... What?
The reciter: "The servant has truly succeeded who is a believer *** What have I stored up for him of".
The Shaykh : ...
The reciter: No, what have I stored up.
The Shaykh : You have stored up, O Allah.
The reciter: "The servant has truly succeeded who is a believer *** What have I stored up for him of goodness
And Abu al-Darda' has narrated this truth *** As 'Uwaymir did, a report of great importance
The heart of the servant trembles when he hears it *** Delighted by the sweetness of faith
Nothing like it is ever said by opinion *** Or was it, O welcome to this knowledge
In it, the descent is for three hours, so one *** of them He looks at the second book
He erases and establishes what He wills with wisdom *** And with might and mercy and tenderness
So you see the young man ends the day in one state and be- *** comes in another, they are not two alike
He is sleeping and his affairs have been managed *** at night, and he does not know of that matter
And the other hour is to Paradise, the abode *** of its people are the elect of the Most Merciful
The messengers, then the prophets, and with them the ver- *** acious one according to the count, so do not be cowardly
In it is that which, by Allah, no eye has seen *** nor have the two ears heard of it
Nor has a heart ever conceived the like *** of it, Exalted is Allah, the Possessor of authority
And the other hour is to this sky, He says: Is there a repentant, regretful one?
Or a supplicant, or one seeking forgiveness, or a petitioner? *** I will give to him, for I am vast in goodness
Until Fajr is prayed, witnessing it with the an- *** gels, that is the testimony of the Qur'an
This hadith in its length and context *** and its completion is in the Sunan of al-Tabarani".
