The Verse: {Indeed, We guided him to the path} Does this mean that Allah has undertaken the conveyance and there is no conveyance required of us?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Allah the Exalted says:
Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful. إنا هديناه السبيل إما شاكرا وإما كافورا
[Al-Insan 76:3]
Does this imply that we should not exert ourselves?

The Shaykh : No, the meaning of
Indeed, We guided him to the way إنا هديناه السبيل
[Al-Insan 76:3]
is that He made it clear to them; every nation in which a warner existed had it made clear to them, but some of them were guided and some were not. Allah the Exalted said:
And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance وأما ثمود فهديناهم فاستحبوا العمى على الهدى
[Fussilat 41:17]
It is necessary that Allah sends a messenger to every person, otherwise the argument would not be established against them.

The questioner : Are we obligated to convey the call?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is known that it is obligatory for us to convey the call. Yes.
