Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-05b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Isma'il narrated to us, saying: Malik narrated to me from Ibn Shihab from Mahmud ibn al-Rabi' al-Ansari that 'Utbah ibn Malik used to lead his people in prayer while he was blind. He said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah, darkness and floods occur, and I am a man with impaired vision. So pray, O Messenger of Allah, in a place in my house that I may designate as a prayer area." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to him and said:
Where would you like me to pray? أين تحب أن أصلي
Muwatta Malik 9:94
He pointed to a place in the house, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed there.
