The reader: Yahya ibn Sulayman narrated to us, saying: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Yunus narrated to me from Ibn Shihab from Hamzah ibn 'Abd Allah, who informed him from his father, saying: When the illness of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became severe, it was said to him regarding the prayer, so he said: Sahih al-Bukhari 682 Then 'Aishah said: "Abu Bakr is a tender-hearted man; when he recites, weeping overcomes him." He said: She repeated this to him, so he said: Sahih al-Bukhari 682 Al-Zubaydi, Ibn al-Zuhri's nephew, and Ishaq ibn Yahya al-Kalbi followed him from al-Zuhri. And 'Aqil and Ma'mar said from al-Zuhri from Hamzah from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Shaykh : Now, there is no doubt that the people of knowledge and virtue are more deserving of the imamate, especially knowledge of the rulings of prayer. If two men were to gather with us, one of whom is more knowledgeable than the other in the rulings of prayer, and the other is more knowledgeable than him in the rulings of sale or Hajj or fasting, which of the two is more deserving? The first is more deserving. And so it is in Hajj; if two men were to gather for the leadership of a group in Hajj, one of whom has knowledge of the rulings of Hajj and the other does not, we would prioritize the one who has knowledge of the rulings of Hajj. Yes.
Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer.
