The reciter: Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Zubayd, from al-Sha'bi, from al-Bara' who said: .
The Shaykh : The indication of the hadith's proof is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 5545 This indicates that he was the first to do so, because the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is never free from worship. So if this is the first thing he begins with, it indicates that he was the first to do it; otherwise, he would have been occupied with another act of worship.

Whoever does that has followed our Sunnah. And whoever slaughters before praying, his meat is merely meat he has hastened for his family; it is not part of the ritual in any way." Then my uncle, Abu Burdah ibn Niyar, stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered before I prayed, and I have a one-year-old camel which is better than a two-year-old. He said: "Make it a substitute for it," or he said: "Slaughter it, and a one-year-old camel will not suffice for anyone after you."
