The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And the Hereafter is better for you than the First," along with the story of al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar with the Jew regarding the hadith

The Shaykh : The lam here in His saying for emphasis To whom is the address? To the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). The Hereafter is known What is the first? This world. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed by Allah and promised that the Hereafter is better for him than the first. For other than the Messenger, a condition was stated: So you must know the difference. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was told by Allah without a restriction. Why? Because he is the leader of the pious (peace and blessings be upon him), unlike the Messenger. He said: And this is correct: the Hereafter is better for the believer, but it is worse for the disbeliever. It is mentioned that Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (may Allah have mercy on him) was the Chief Judge in Egypt, and he is the author of Fath al-Bari, a well-known work. It was said that he was a man of great knowledge, like a fire on his head. He was the Chief Judge, and when he left his home for the place of judgment, he would ride in a carriage pulled by horses, with people in front of him and behind him in a procession. He passed by a Jewish oil-maker. It is known that an oil-maker’s clothes are what? Dirty, and he would be tired. So the Jew stopped him and said to him, “O Chief Judge, stop.” He stopped and asked, “What do you have?” The Jew said, “Your Prophet says:”. How does this statement agree with my situation and yours? You are now a believer, and you are now in Paradise as far as I am concerned, while I, the Jew, am in prison and Fire as far as you are concerned. How is this religion? It is as you wish, and this Jew is in affliction and hardship. What is the answer?
The answer: With wit, he said: "As for me, the comfort I am in is a prison compared to the comfort of the Hereafter—Allahu Akbar—and as for you, with this hardship and fatigue, it is a Paradise compared to the punishment of the Hereafter." By Allah, it was a complete answer. The Jew said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," because it was clarified to him, and in truth, all the comfort of this world is nothing compared to the Hereafter. It is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: O Allah, make us among the inhabitants of Paradise. O Allah, make us among the inhabitants of Paradise. O Allah, make us among the inhabitants of Paradise. The place of the whip of one of you is better than the entire world, from its beginning until the Hour stands, better than the world and what is in it.
I return to the saying of Allah the Exalted: There is no condition in it, there is no restriction in it. Why? O people, yes, please, stand up.

The Shaykh : Yes, there is no contradiction. Because the Messenger is the Imam of the Pious (peace and blessings be upon him).
