Review and discussion of the previous exegesis of the verses

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
We will now take the benefits. What was the last thing we wrote? Regarding His saying:
And do not be like those who disbelieved in itولا تكونوا أو كافر به
? Yes.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that whoever buys the verses of Allah for a small price has a resemblance to the Jews. Thus, those who study Islamic knowledge for the sake of this world have a resemblance to the Jews, because the Jews are those who buy the verses of Allah for a small price. And in the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever seeks knowledge from what is sought for the face of Allah, not wanting except to obtain a worldly benefit, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise من طلب علما مما يبتغى به وجه الله لا يريد إلا أن ينال عرضا من الدنيا لم يرح رائحة الجنة
.
And at that point, it becomes difficult for many students regarding those people who rush to universities and schools to obtain this certificate. Are they among those who bought the verses of Allah for a small price?
The answer depends on the intention. If a person does not want from that anything except to get a job and live, then he has bought the verses of Allah for a small price. The sign of that is that he does not care about anything except reaching this rank, even at the expense of knowledge and the Shari'ah. But if he does not want that, and only wants to reach the rank he obtains through the certificate in order to occupy a position where he can benefit the Muslims, then he has not bought the verses of Allah for a small price. Because concepts have changed now, and a person is weighed by the certificate he holds. Is that clear? So we say to those who rush to universities: there is no harm on you if you do not want thereby the pure worldly life, but rather you want to occupy a position where you benefit the servants of Allah.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that everything in this world is little. And witnessing to this is His saying, the Exalted:
Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]." قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلا
[An-Nisa 4:77]

And among the benefits of the noble verse is that the legislations of Allah, the Exalted, are among His signs, by His saying:
for a small priceبآياتي ثمنا قليلا
[Al-Baqarah 2:41]
And the Jews sell religion for this world. The way the legislations are among His signs is that they indicate His wisdom, Mighty and Majestic, and they come in the most perfect forms, unlike what humans legislate, which is deficient. First: due to the deficiency of human knowledge and its lack of comprehensiveness. Second: because the benefits are hidden from them, so they may think that what is a benefit is not a benefit, or they may think that what is not a benefit is a benefit. Third: even if we assume that the man who legislated the system or law is the most intelligent of people and the most knowledgeable about the conditions of people, his knowledge is limited, limited in his time and limited in his place. As for his time, it is apparent, because matters change; the benefit for humans in this time may be such and such, and in another time it is the opposite. Also in place, this legislation that humans have legislated may be suitable for the conditions of this nation in one place, but in another nation it is not valid. For this reason, many Muslims, unfortunately, have gone astray in taking Western laws and applying them to the Islamic society, because there is a difference between the disbelieving European societies and the Islamic societies, and it is not possible to apply what is suitable for the condition of those people to what is not suitable for the condition of Muslims. This is if we say that it is suitable in its place; how then if it is not suitable in its place? And the wonder is that some people, may Allah keep us safe, you find them following laws that were legislated decades ago, and their people who legislated them have failed with them, so these people have become like those who gnaw on bones after they are thrown in the garbage. And this is a clear thing. There are laws that were legislated for a disbelieving people, then the situation changed and they changed them, then some Muslims came to these laws, the outer shells and the spoken words, and they started to gnaw on them. Does this fall under His saying:
They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small priceلا تشتروا بآيات الله ثمنا قليلا
[Ali 'Imran 3:199]
? Yes, it falls under this. Yes.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the obligation of fearing Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and singling Him out with that fear, by His saying:
And fear Meوإياي فاتقون

So if someone says: Does not Allah order us to fear the time in which the punishment is sometimes, and to fear the punishment sometimes? He said, the Exalted:
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah واتقوا يوما ترجعون فيه إلى الله
[Al-Baqarah 2:281]
And He said:
And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers. واتقوا النار التي أعدت للكافرين
[Ali 'Imran 3:131]
And He said:
And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively واتقوا فتنة لا تصيبن الذين ظلموا منكم خاصة
[Al-Anfal 8:25]
So how is this reconciled?
We say: All these things that we were ordered to fear, fearing them is part of fearing Allah, because they are created by Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, so fearing them is part of fearing Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
