Is it permissible for a woman to appoint someone to throw the stones on her behalf in the event of severe crowding?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah preserve you, O Shaykh: Is it permissible for a woman to appoint someone to throw the stones on her behalf out of fear of severe crowding?

The Shaykh : If a woman or a man is unable to throw the stones amidst the crowd and cannot postpone the throwing to a time of ease, then he may appoint someone. However, if he is able to postpone the throwing to a time of ease, such as postponing the daytime throwing to the night, or bringing forward the throwing on the day of 'Id to the end of the night before the day of 'Id, then it is not permissible for him to appoint someone. This is because Allah the Exalted said:
And complete the Hajj and 'umrah for Allah وأتموا الحج والعمرة لله
[Al-Baqarah 2:196]
and throwing the stones is among the acts of Hajj, so a person must perform it himself and not appoint another. Accordingly, a woman and a man are equal in this: whoever is able to throw, even at another time, it is not permissible for him to appoint someone, and whoever is unable to do so may appoint someone.
