Does the disobedient believer receive the good news of Paradise at the time of death or not?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and benefit us with your knowledge. Your Eminence, I have a question, and I hope it is not a question of religious innovation, or one of the questions where knowing it or being ignorant of it is of no benefit or harm. My question is: I learned from the long hadith of al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the state of the believer and the disbeliever at the time of death and in the grave, concerning the bad news of the Fire and abandonment during the questioning for the disbeliever, and the good news of Paradise and firmness for the believer. Is this good news also for the believers who are scratched on the Sirat, or who are punished for some of their sins before entering Paradise?

The Shaykh : What is this good news?

The questioner : For the believers who are scratched on the Sirat, or who are punished for some of their sins before entering Paradise?

The Shaykh : Do you mean they are given the good news of Paradise?

The questioner : I do not know.

The Shaykh : Do you mean your question is that you want them to be given the good news?

The questioner : The believers who are scratched, for example, on the Sirat, or who are punished for some of their sins before entering Paradise, are these people given the good news of Paradise in the grave, or are they given the bad news of the Fire?

The Shaykh : It appears that the good news is given to the believer even if he has sins, that it is given to him even if he has sins. Then afterwards, Allah may forgive them in the Hereafter, or He may punish him for them by the will of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), as Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ
[An-Nisa 4:48]
.

The questioner : Is he given the good news of Paradise?

The Shaykh : He is given the good news of Paradise even if he has sins.
