The questioner : May the Shaykh be honored, a woman had her menstruation before the Tawaf of Farewell, and she is with her companions and is compelled to travel with them, so how should she act?
The Shaykh : May Allah bless you, if a woman menstruates before the Tawaf of Farewell, then if it is possible for her companions to wait until she becomes pure and performs the Tawaf, that is what is required. For when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that Safiyyah had menstruated, he said:Sahih al-Bukhari 1757 And if it is not possible, as is the case in our time, we look at whether she is in the Kingdom; if so, let her go with them and remain in the state of the first release until she performs the Tawaf. When she becomes pure, she returns, because the matter is possible.
And if it is not possible for her to return, such as if she is a resident in the Kingdom and cannot return without hardship and difficulty, or if she is a visitor and cannot return either, then she wears a pad on her private parts so that the blood does not flow onto the House, the Sacred Mosque. Then she performs the Tawaf out of necessity, and her Tawaf is valid. This is the strongest opinion in this matter due to the necessity. Do you understand now?

"Would she delay us?" The people said, "She has already performed Tawaf-al-Ifada." He said, "Therefore she will not (delay us)."
