How to reconcile the statement of Allah the Exalted: “He directs the affair from the heaven to the earth, then it ascends to Him in a day whose measure is a thousand years of what you count,” with

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : In Surat al-Sajdah, the statement of Allah the Exalted is:
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which
[As-Sajdah 32:5]

The Shaykh : Then

The questioner :
then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years
[As-Sajdah 32:5]
And in Surat al-Ma'arij, the statement of Allah the Exalted is:
The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
[Al-Ma'arij 70:4]
So what is the reconciliation between the two verses?

The Shaykh : As for the verse in al-Sajdah, Allah says:
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him
[As-Sajdah 32:5]
This is in this world
in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years
[As-Sajdah 32:5]
and that is because it has come in the hadith:
that between the earth and the lowest heaven is five hundred years, and the thickness of the heaven is five hundred years
.
So on this basis, it becomes five hundred and five hundred thousand.
As for al-Ma'arij, in Surat al-Ma'arij, that is in the Hereafter. For this reason, it appears to me that the statement of Blessed and Exalted is He:
during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
[Al-Ma'arij 70:4]
is connected to His statement:
for a punishment bound to happen (2) To the disbelievers
[Al-Ma'arij 70:1-2]
The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him
[Al-Ma'arij 70:4]
Rather, the angels and the Spirit ascend to Him, meaning in this world, according to what came in the chapter:
Has not the revelation been sent down?
al-Sajdah. This is what appears to me. The difference is clear.

The questioner : Your Eminence, the Shaykh

The Shaykh : No, no, my son, from the oath, we give the Indonesian as he said.
