What is the ruling on a lesson before the adhan on Friday, and what is its ruling if it is continuous?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on the lesson that takes place before the adhan on Friday? And what is its ruling if it is done on a continuous basis?

The Shaykh : As for a private lesson that takes place between a scholar and his students, there is nothing wrong with it, except that it is forbidden to gather in circles on Friday if doing so causes difficulty for those coming to the Friday prayer.
As for if it is public, such as the lesson being broadcast over the loudspeaker to all those present, then this is reprehensible and a religious innovation.
As for it being reprehensible, it is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disapproved of his Companions when they were praying in groups and raising their voices in recitation, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Each of you is conversing with his Lord, so do not harm one another with your recitation. كلكم يناجي ربه فلا يؤذين بعضكم بعضاً بالقراءة
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 9:18
Because if one raises his voice, it disturbs the others. This is the aspect of it being reprehensible. Indeed, the one who addresses people over the loudspeaker on Friday harms people, because some people like to recite the Qur'an, some like to perform voluntary prayer, and some like to devote themselves to glorification, praise, and saying Allahu Akbar. Not everyone wants to listen to this speaker, so this becomes a source of harm to them. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) disapproved of his Companions who raised their voices over one another.
As for it being a religious innovation, it is because this did not occur in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most eager of people to convey the message, yet it did not happen. This is because people will receive the reminder and admonition in the prescribed sermon that will take place when the imam is present.
So my advice to my brothers in any of the lands of the Muslims who do this is to leave this practice, to leave it for the sake of Allah to draw near to Him. And if they wish to admonish people, let them admonish them at another time, as circumstances require.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and may He magnify your reward, and may He bless you and your knowledge, and may He benefit the Muslims through you.
