The ruling on praying two rak'ahs after the first adhan on Friday

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner Ibrahim Abdulaziz Abu Hamid actually has a set of questions from Riyadh. He says: Some people, when the mu'adhdhin calls the first adhan for Friday in Makkah or al-Madinah, stand up after it and pray two rak'ahs. What is the ruling on that, and is this prescribed?

Answer:
I do not know of any basis for it, because the adhan is something that 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) introduced during his caliphate, and the Companions agreed to it to alert people that the day is Friday so that they would come forward; therefore, it is not included in his statement (peace and blessings be upon him):
Between every two calls (to prayer) there is a Salatبين كل أذانين صلاة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 185Sahih (Darussalam)
The intended meaning of the two adhans is the adhan and the iqamah, whereas this one is an adhan to announce that it is Friday.
So the more apparent and closer view is to leave that off, leaving off standing up to pray after this first adhan. Some scholars held that it falls under the general ruling, and that if one stands up and prays, there is nothing wrong with it. So the matter in this has some leeway—if Allah wills—but leaving it off is better in my view. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
