The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. Regarding the hadith narrated by Umm Salimah:
Ibn 'Umar reported: The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) used to say prayer towards his camel. Ibn Numair said: The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said prayer towards the camel. أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى ركعتين بعد العصر
Sahih Muslim 502b
What is the authenticity of this hadith?

The Shaykh : This is authentic, because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was prevented from praying the two rak'ahs after Dhuhr, a delegation came to him and he was occupied with them. He made up for them after the 'Asr prayer, and then he continued to pray them. This is because it was his habit that when he did a deed, he would persist in it. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) established it. However, it is not permissible for others to do that. If a person misses the regular voluntary prayer of Dhuhr due to forgetfulness or being occupied, he may pray it after the 'Asr prayer, but he should not make it a regular habit. This is the explanation of the hadith. Yes.
