If one misses the Witr prayer at night and makes it up in the morning, does it include the two Rak'ahs of Duha? And when is Surat al-Ikhlas recited?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, if a person misses the Witr prayer at night and wants to make it up during the day in the time of Duha, does it include the two Rak'ahs of Duha?
The second matter: when is Surat al-Ikhlas recited? Is it in the last Rak'ah or the one before it, the odd-numbered one?

The Shaykh : If a person misses the Witr prayer, he makes it up during the day, but in an even number. If his custom is to pray Witr with three, he makes up four; and if his custom is to pray Witr with five, he makes up six, based on the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to pray twelve Rak'ahs during the day if he missed the night prayer due to sleep or illness أنّ النّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلّم إذا فاتته صلاة اللّيل من نوم أو وجع صلّى من النّهار ثنتي عشرة ركعة
.
As for what he recites, the most likely view is that he places
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
in the last Rak'ah.
As for whether it suffices for the two Rak'ahs of Duha?
No, because the two Rak'ahs of Duha are a distinct recommended practice, so it is necessary to perform them on their own.
