What are the reasons for steadfastness in the religion of Allah despite the multitude of trials?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah.
Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and bless you, and may Allah make your knowledge beneficial to the Muslims:
Trials have become numerous in this time, so what are the most important reasons for steadfastness in the religion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)?

The Shaykh : Yes, the most important reason for steadfastness is faith in Allah (Mighty and Majestic), being pleased with Him, and carrying out His obedience to the best of one's ability. It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
until you see avarice obeyed, desires followed, and the world preferred, and everyone is amazed with his view. Then you should be worried about yourself in particular, and worry of the common folk. إذا رأيت شحًّا مطاعًا وهوى متبعًا ودنيا مؤثرة وإعجاب كل ذي رأي برأيه فعليك بخاصة نفسك ودع عنك أمر العوام أو العامة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3058Sahih (Darussalam)
Although this description does not apply to us now, and praise be to Allah. Yes, there is an obeyed stinginess, with people competing in their love for wealth and seeking it. A dominant worldly life also exists, for many people prefer the world over the Hereafter. A followed desire also exists, even among scholars; you will find some scholars who want nothing but to support their opinion and their desire, regardless of whether it is the truth or an error.
if you see overwhelming stinginess, desires being followed, this world being preferred (to the Hereafter), every person with an opinion feeling proud of it إذا رأيت شحًّا مطاعًا وهوى متبعًا ودنيا مؤثرة وإعجاب كل ذي رأي برأيه
Sunan Ibn Majah 4014Hasan (Darussalam)
This is also from the trial: when a person sees an opinion, even if he is not a scholar, and he sees an opinion in worldly matters, for example, and is pleased with it, and does not submit to any other, even if it is proven to be the truth. So here, you must focus on your own self. A person should turn to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) according to what came in the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and according to the path of the righteous predecessors, and fear Allah as much as he is able by enjoining good and forbidding evil, and calling to Allah with knowledge.

The questioner : This is a question, O Shaykh.
