Question:
What are the factors that aid in sincerity, as well as steadfastness upon the religion?
Answer:
Answer: The factors that aid in this are the strength of faith, increasing the remembrance of Allah, reciting the Qur'an, and keeping the company of the righteous. These are among the factors for the life of the hearts and for the remembrance of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). One must abandon frivolity and heedlessness, and abandon whatever distracts from the remembrance of Allah. (Let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah, and whoever does that, it is they who are the losers).
