If a pilgrim forgets from which side he threw the jamarat, what is required of him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Your Eminence, if a pilgrim forgets from which side he threw at the jamarat, what is required of him?

The Shaykh : If

The questioner : If he forgets, meaning he does not recall

The Shaykh : He is uncertain, meaning

The questioner : Yes, he does not recall from which side he threw

The Shaykh : This means uncertainty. He does not know if it was from here or there. First, we must know that if the uncertainty occurs after the completion of the act of worship, it is not considered at all.
However, if it occurs during the act of worship, then if he is convinced that it is correct, it is correct; or if he is certain that it is correct, it is correct. If he is convinced that it is incorrect, or if he is certain that it is incorrect, then it is incorrect. If he is uncertain and there is no preponderance, then it is incorrect. This is if it is during the act of worship, meaning you are standing now throwing, and then you become uncertain: is this the correct position? Is this the correct place to throw, or not? But after you leave, the original state is that it is correct, and nothing is required of you.

The questioner : Praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh : And with this, the session ends, because the call to prayer for the midday prayer has been made. We ask Allah to accept from us and from you.
