The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Wahhab, meaning al-Thaqafi, narrated to us, saying: Ubayd Allah narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id from Abu Salama from Aisha that she said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a mat, and he would fold it up at night and pray on it. So the people began to pray following his prayer, and he would spread it out during the day. Then they came back one night, and he said: O people, do only as much of the deeds as you are able to, for Allah does not grow weary until you grow weary, and the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are few. And the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), when they did a deed, they would persist in it.
