The reciter: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Abu Asimah narrated to us from Hisham from his father from A'ishah, who said:
Abu Bakr came in to me and I had two maidservants from the maidservants of the Ansar singing what the Ansar had recited on the day of Bu'ath. She said: They were not professional singers. Abu Bakr said: Is this the flute of Satan in the house of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? And that was on a day of festival. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Bakr, every people have a festival, and this is our festival.
دخل علي أبو بكر وعندي جاريتان من جواري الأنصار تغنيان بما تقاولت به الأنصار يوم بعاث قالت وليستا بمغنيتين فقال أبو بكر أبمزمور الشيطان في بيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وذلك في يوم عيد فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يا أبا بكر إن لكل قوم عيداًوهذا عيدنا
