Is it authentic that it was narrated that when one of them heard the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, he said, "How is it that I do not know where my hand spent the night?" So he tied his hand and slept at night, and when morning came, he found it in his anus.

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. The statement of the jurists is confusing to me... it is better to perform takhleel.

The Shaykh : Wait a moment.

The questioner : Takhleel?

The Shaykh : Wait, may Allah bless you.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When one of you wakes up, let him wash his hand three times before dipping it in the vessel, for one of you does not know where his hand spent the night. إذا استيقظ أحكم فليغسل يده ثلاثا قبل أن يغمسها في الإناء فإن أحدكم لا يدري أين باتت يده
So he said: "I know where my hand spent the night." So he did not sleep without tying his hand in a sack or something similar, and when he got up, he found his hand in his anus.

The Shaykh : In what?

The questioner : In his anus, and he did not remove it until the people saw him and his matter became famous. Is this authentic, Shaykh?

The Shaykh : I do not know, by Allah. Yes, I do not know. Yes?

The questioner : Is the mustache part of the beard?

The Shaykh : The apparent meaning of the author of the Qamus is that it is part of the beard, because he said: "The hair of the face is general."
