If one exaggerates in sniffing water until it reaches the stomach, does this break the fast?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. If one exaggerates in sniffing water.

The Shaykh : If one exaggerates?

The questioner : If one exaggerates in sniffing water, or does anything that makes it likely to reach the stomach or break the fast, such as intimate contact or the like, does it break the fast if he does that?

The Shaykh : If he intended this, there is no harm; it breaks the fast. But if he did not intend it, it does not.

The questioner : And if it is likely that he will not be overcome by it?

The Shaykh : In this case, if he does it without the intention of breaking the fast, the prohibition is strong, because it may or may not happen. But if he is convinced in his mind that it will reach the point of breaking the fast, the prohibition becomes stronger.

The questioner : And if he did not intend that?

The Shaykh : Yes, and in my opinion, there is something concerning this if he did not intend to break the fast, because it may or may not reach the stomach.
You read, may Allah reward you. The hadith of Uthman, have we explained it?
