Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And the martyrs are with their Lord, and they have their reward and their light)]

Allah the Exalted said:
and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light.
[Surah al-Hadid: 19] (The martyrs) is the plural of shahid,And the intended meaning by them is: those who were killed in the cause of Allah,And fighting in the cause of Allah is: that a person should fight the enemy of Allah so that the word of Allah is the supreme one; this is fighting in the cause of Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said that when he was asked: (A man fights out of bravery, fights out of tribal loyalty, and fights to be seen; which of these is in the cause of Allah? He said: Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the supreme one, he is in the cause of Allah) (Fights out of bravery) means he loves fighting, so he is brave, like a hunter who loves to hunt. You find the hunter who is fond of hunting loves it, and he goes out and endures hardships to hunt, and when he catches it, it becomes cheaper to him than everything else.
So this is called bravery; because he is brave and loves to fight.
(And fights out of tribal loyalty) meaning: partisanship for his people.
(And fights to be seen) : meaning: for showing off, as it came in the other wording (And fights for showing off) He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the supreme one, he is in the cause of Allah) Whoever fights to reclaim his usurped land, his fighting is of the category of tribal loyalty, unless he fights wanting to reclaim it to establish the rituals of Islam there, then he is in the cause of Allah. As for the one who fights because this is his land and he wants it returned to him, this is tribal loyalty; he has no reward of the martyrs if he is killed.
These are martyrs (who have their reward with their Lord) meaning: their great reward,As Allah the Exalted said:
(169) And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, (170) Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (171) They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -وَلا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتاً بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ * فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ * يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
[Surah Al-Imran: 169-171] .

Allah the Exalted said:
and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light.
[Surah al-Hadid: 19] And when the Mighty and Majestic mentioned the people of the right and their reward, He mentioned the people of the left after that,So he said:
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions
[Surah al-Hadid: 19] And this is because the Qur'an is repeated,Meaning: matters and meanings are repeated in it, and for this reason you find that the Noble Qur'an, in most cases, when Allah mentions Paradise, He mentions the Fire, and when He mentions the close friends of Allah, He mentions the enemies of Allah,And the wisdom of that: so that a person does not get bored; because whenever the meaning moves to another meaning, the person becomes active.

And another wisdom is: That a person should be traveling toward Allah -Meaning: worshipping Allah - between fear and hope; because when the attributes of the believers are mentioned, or when the attributes of the believers pass by him, the side of hope is strengthened, and when the conditions of the disbelievers are mentioned, the side of fear prevails,And for this he said:
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs
[Surah al-Hadid: 19] The conjunction of disbelief with kufr, and it is a type of it, but because it is more severe. The one who disbelieves but does not deny is less severe than the one who denies, so the conjunction of (They denied Our signs) with (They disbelieved) is of the category of conjoining the specific to the general, like conjoining the spirit to the angels, and it is from them,Allah the Exalted said:
The angels and the Spirit descend therein
[Surah al-Qadr: 4] And the spirit is Jibril, and he is from the angels.
