Continuation of the explanation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “It is He who sends prayers upon you and His angels to bring you out of the darknesses into the light”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light وملائكته لِيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ
[Al-Ahzab 33:43]
The letter lam in His saying:
to bring you out ليخرجكم
is for the purpose of causation. The author said: "so that He may perpetuate His bringing you out". He directed the wording to the meaning of perpetuation because he is addressing the believers, and since he is addressing the believers, they have already been brought out from the darknesses into the light originally. However, it may be said that there is no need for this interpretation, and that the meaning of His saying:
to bring you out ليخرجكم
is to increase you in knowledge and faith. And His saying:
that He may bring you out from darknesses لِيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ
[Al-Ahzab 33:43]
means disbelief.
into the light إلى النور
means to faith. There is no doubt that disbelief is darknesses, as Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice." إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ
[Luqman:13]. And there is no doubt that faith is light. But the verse is more comprehensive than what the author said; it is to bring you out from the darknesses of ignorance and disbelief into the light of knowledge and faith. Thus, the author was brief or limited in his interpretation of the verse, and the correct view is that He brings them out from the darknesses of ignorance and disbelief into the light of knowledge and faith.
