The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (( ... So worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion )) .

Allah the Exalted said: [Az-Zumar 39:2] One of the benefits of this verse is that the revelation of the Qur'an is a proof, a compelling proof, against the people, obligating them to worship Allah, based on His saying: This "fa" (so) indicates a consequence, meaning: So, because of the revelation of the Book to you, worship Allah.
And among its benefits is that one to whom the Book has not reached is not obligated to worship; one to whom the Qur'an has not reached is not obligated to worship. Do you understand? Good. And other verses indicate this, such as His saying:[Al-Isra 17:15] And such as His saying: [An-Nisa 4:165] And such as His saying: [Al-Qasas 28:59] And such as the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He said: , and the texts regarding this barrier are numerous {may Allah have mercy on you} that one to whom the call of the messengers has not reached is not obligated to worship. The practical evidence for this issue is several witnesses: among them is the hadith of 'Amir ibn Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him on a military expedition, and he became in a state of major ritual impurity but did not find water, so he rolled in the dust as a beast rolls, thinking that this was obligatory for him. He prayed and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of this, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) clarified to him that it suffices for him instead of the full ritual bath to strike the ground with his hands and then wipe his face and palms. He did not order him to repeat the prayer. Similarly, the man who came and prayed but did not settle in his prayer, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: He said to him: By Him who sent you with the truth, I do not know how to do anything other than this. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught him and did not order him to repeat what had passed of his prayer, even though he was not praying correctly; he was praying a prayer that did not suffice him. And similarly, the woman who was suffering from irregular non-menstrual bleeding and thought it was menstruation, so she did not pray, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not order her to repeat it. There are many examples like this. Therefore, if a man converts to Islam in a land of disbelief or in a remote land where the rulings of the Shari'ah do not reach him, and he leaves off prayer for a period, and then learns afterwards of the obligation of prayer, we do not order him to make up what he left off, but we only order him to pray what is currently due. Similarly, if a woman is in a remote place and reaches the age of menstruation while she is young, and she did not fast Ramadan, but she is in a place where there are no scholars around her to ask, and ignorance has overcome her, such as in the desert, for example, then we do not order her to make up the fasting she left off, due to ignorance. And this is what is befitting the Islamic Shari'ah, which is based on ease and simplicity, and that Allah the Exalted does not burden a soul except with what it can bear, and does not burden a soul except with what He has given it. And here, the verse with us may contain a reference to what was mentioned: [Az-Zumar 39:2] After the revelation, he was ordered to worship. Good.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the obligation of sincerity to Allah in worship, based on His saying:[Az-Zumar 39:2] Sincerity is purifying a thing from what mixes with it. For this reason, it came in the authentic hadith that Allah said: Sahih Muslim 2985 So if a person gives charity with money but does so out of showing off, in order to be praised, then he has not worshipped Allah, and he is sinful and not rewarded. And if he prays to be praised, then he has not worshipped Allah, and he is sinful and not rewarded, because Allah commanded a specific worship, which is sincerity: [Az-Zumar 39:2].
And among the benefits of the noble verse is that worship is a religion by which a person is bound. The meaning of it being a religion is that he works to be rewarded. And branching from this benefit is that it is recommended for a person, when worshipping, to keep in mind this meaning, which is that he works to be rewarded. Because if he feels this feeling, he will perfect the work, for the intellect guides a person to the fact that the reward is according to the work: if you do the work well, the reward is good, and if you fall short, the reward decreases. And this issue - I mean the feeling that a person works for the sake of reward - I believe it is missed by many people; they do not pay attention to it.
Good, and among its benefits is also the indication of the intention of the one for whom the work is done. When you work, you intend to draw near to Allah the Mighty and Majestic by obeying His command. For example, when you intend to perform the ablution, you intend that you are performing the ablution in obedience to the command of Allah when He said:[Al-Ma'idah 5:6] In order to feel the worship and the pleasure of worship, not just to clear your conscience by doing what is obligatory for you regarding purity for prayer. There is no doubt that this is a good intention, but better than it is to feel that you are obeying the command of Allah so that you feel the pleasure of worship and that you are truly a servant of your Lord, the Mighty and Majestic. These are matters that a person should pay attention to in his worship. For this reason, He said: [Az-Zumar 39:2].
So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.
فاعبد الله مخلصا له الدينSo worship
فاعبدAnd among its benefits is that one to whom the Book has not reached is not obligated to worship; one to whom the Qur'an has not reached is not obligated to worship. Do you understand? Good. And other verses indicate this, such as His saying:
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger.
وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعَثَ رسولًا[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers
رسلًا مبشرين ومنذرين لئلا يكون للناس على الله حجة بعد الرسلAnd never would your Lord have destroyed the cities until He had sent to their mother a messenger reciting to them Our verses. And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers.
