Discussion regarding the verse: ((The Book has been revealed to you in truth, confirming what came before it, and He revealed the Torah and the Gospel before that, as a guidance for mankind, and He revealed the Criterion))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:
He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He نزل عليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه وأنزل
[Ali 'Imran 3:3]
Why did He say in the Qur'an:
He has sent down نزل
and in the Torah and the Gospel:
revealed أنزل
?
The student: Because the Qur'an was not revealed all at once, but rather gradually, yes, therefore He said in the Qur'an:
He has sent down نزل
and in the Gospel:
revealed أنزل
because, and the Torah, because the Gospel and the Torah were revealed all at once,
The Shaykh : Well done. His saying:
with the truth بالحق
Muhammad? What is the meaning of "in truth"?
The student: The meaning of "in truth" is that He revealed it, I do not know,

The Shaykh : Shaker?
The student: The letter "ba" has two meanings, it is possible from two angles: First: it is possible that it means inclusion, meaning that the revelation was in truth and not in falsehood,

The Shaykh : meaning that what He brought is truth, veracity in reports and justice in rulings, good,
The student: And another angle: that the revelation itself was a revelation in truth,

The Shaykh : it was truth and not falsehood, is that right? Good, correct? Meaning it is truth revealed from Allah, and what He brought is included in it, so it is truth. His saying:
a guidance for the people هدى للناس
What is the grammatical analysis of
guidance هدى
? It means for the guidance of people. His saying:
and He sent down the Criterion وأنزل الفرقان
What is meant by it, Abdullah?
The student: That by which the truth is distinguished from the falsehood,

The Shaykh : But is the Qur'an meant by it or something else?
The student: All the books,

The Shaykh : All the books, so the Criterion here is a description and not a specific person, yes.
