The Ten Causes of the Forgiveness of Sin.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The scholars have mentioned the causes of the forgiveness of sin, and they amount to approximately ten. Among them is that a person is granted success in repentance; if a person repents from a sin, Allah the Exalted protects him from the punishment of that sin
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins قل يا عبادي الذي أسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا
[Az-Zumar 39:53]
. Among them are righteous deeds, charity, the supplication of the believers, and others. The important point is that they mentioned approximately ten causes, all of which are causes of protection from the punishment of the Fire. Thus, their supplication as protection from the punishment of the Fire includes two meanings: the first meaning is that it protects them from the deeds of the people of the Fire; the second is that it protects them from the punishment after the commission of what necessitates punishment, after the commission of the cause, by making easy for them the causes of repentance and the erasure of these sins, even by the will of the Mighty and Majestic
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء
[An-Nisa 4:48]
. And His saying:
The punishment of the Fire عذاب النار
This is a general statement, but it is detailed in many verses in which Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has explained the punishment of the people of the Fire, and that it is a punishment from which livers burst and hearts break
Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind]. إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد
[Qaf 50:37]
.
