Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "We do not deny them in this because it is possible, nor do we believe them because of their ignorance and open sinfulness. And as for their agreement with us in celebrating, it is reviving a religion they invented or a religion Allah abrogated. Then the Thursday which..." ..

The Shaykh : From perfect justice, he says that what is confirmed by miracles is within the scope of possibility, so we deny them in it because it is possible, but we do not believe them for two reasons
The first reason: ignorance
And the second reason is open sinfulness, and Allah says
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن جاءكم فاسق بنبأ فتبينوا
[Al-Hujurat 49:6]
Yes
The reader: "Then the Thursday they call the Great Thursday, they claim that in such a day the Table was sent down, which Allah mentioned in the Qur'an, where He said
Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers." قال عيسى ابن مريم اللهم ربنا أنزل علينا مائدة من السماء تكون لنا عيدا لأولنا وآخرنا وآية منك وارزقنا وأنت خير الرازقين
[Al-Ma'idah 5:114]
So Thursday is the day of the festival of the Table, and Sunday they call the Festival of Passover, the Festival of Light, and the Great Festival. And because it is a festival, they make dyed eggs and the like for their children; because on it they eat what comes out of animals, namely meat, milk, and eggs; for their fasting is from animals and what comes out of them, and they only eat in their fasting grains and what is made from them: oil, cheese, and the like."

The Shaykh : And where is the fasting? Praise be to Allah, yes
