The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Those who carry the Throne and those around it…”

This verse contains several benefits. One of the benefits of the verse is the affirmation of the Throne. Its mention has been repeated in the Noble Qur'an in many verses, and it is described as noble, as great, and as magnificent.
Another of its benefits is the affirmation that this Throne has bearers, as He said: . The affirmation of bearers for it, despite the fact that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is capable of holding it without bearers, indicates its exaltation and that it is great and cared for. For this reason, Allah said regarding the heavens that they are without pillars and did not mention bearers for them, whereas for the Throne, bearers are mentioned, even though the One who held the heavens and the earth from falling is capable of holding the Throne without bearers. But this is a matter of exaltation and highlighting its honor and greatness.
Another benefit of this verse is that there are angels around this Throne and that they are numerous. We may infer their multitude from His saying: , as if everything around the Throne is [angels]. Then, what is around the Throne? Is it measured by a distance of ten meters, or twenty meters, or a hundred meters, or a thousand meters?
