No need to consult the deceased's sons for performing Hajj on his behalf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I want to perform the obligatory Hajj on behalf of my maternal uncle. Is it permissible for me to consult his young sons?

Answer: If your maternal uncle has passed away and you have already performed the obligatory Hajj for yourself, there is no harm in performing Hajj on his behalf. There is no need to consult his sons or anyone else if he has died, or if he is an elderly person who is unable to perform Hajj, provided that you have already performed the obligatory Hajj. If you do him the favor of performing Hajj on his behalf as a voluntary act, you will be thanked and rewarded, and there is no need to seek anyone's permission for that.
