His brother gave him the cost of Hajj; is his Hajj valid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: When I performed Hajj, my brother gave me the cost of Hajj, which was three hundred riyals. Is my Hajj valid, knowing that he did so with his consent?

Answer: There is no blame on a person for accepting a gift from his brother to help him perform Hajj, provided he knows that it is given willingly and from lawful earnings. A gift fosters affection and love, opens the heart of the giver, fulfills a need, and assists the recipient. This does not diminish your reward in any way, because this is lawful earnings, and lawful earnings do not affect acts of worship.
