Explanation of the author's statement and his saying: (And this is a Book which We have revealed, blessed)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك
[Al-An'am 6:92]
The point of reference is his saying:
We revealed it أنزلناه
for it indicates that the Qur'an is revealed, and his saying:
Blessed مبارك
blessed, from what aspect?
The student: From all aspects.

The Shaykh : From every aspect. It is a healing for what is in the chests. If a person reads it with reflection, consideration, and thought, it heals the heart from its diseases. How many are there who complain of heart diseases and say, "We do not feel that faith enters our chests"? Yes, so what is the medicine? We say we have a simple medicine. What is it?
The student: The Qur'an.

The Shaykh : The Book of Allah the Exalted. Read it, for Allah says:
And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers وننزل من القرآن ما هو شفاء ورحمة للمؤمنين
[Al-Isra 17:82]
Blessed مبارك
in its great effects, which are the rectification of outward deeds. For if a person is guided by the Qur'an, his outward appearance is rectified just as his inward self is rectified.
Blessed مبارك
in the great effects that swept through the lands of disbelief. For Allah says:
and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving. وجاهدهم به جهاداً كبيرا
[Al-Furqan 25:52]
And the Muslims occupied the east and west of the earth with what? With this Qur'an, until they possessed the east and west. If we were to return to it—and I ask Allah the Exalted that we return to it—if we returned to it, we would possess the east and west of the earth by Allah the Exalted, not by our strength. Good.
Blessed مبارك
in that whoever reads it has ten good deeds for every letter. Allah is the Greatest. This is a great blessing. If one of us were to profit in the riyal, how much?
The student: Half.

The Shaykh : Half a riyal. He said, "What Allah willed, this is a great profit. Ten is fifteen. What Allah willed, upon you. Yes, and he is profiting half a riyal in the riyal. This is per letter.
The student: Ten.

The Shaykh : Ten good deeds. The word
He said: قال
, how much is in it?
The student: Thirty

The Shaykh : Thirty good deeds. By Allah, it is a great deprivation. Thirty good deeds in one word.
He said: قال
This is from the blessing of the Qur'an. That means we obtain blessings, Glory be to Allah the Great, uncountable, by reading brief verses from the speech of Allah the Exalted. So this is from the blessing of the Qur'an. And the conclusion is that the Qur'an, as described by the One who spoke of it (Exalted and Majestic is He):
A blessed Book كتاب مبارك
every type of blessing from every aspect is obtained through this great Qur'an. I ask Allah to make me and you among its people.
The student: Amen.

The Shaykh : Yes
The student: ...

The Shaykh : He says:
The student: Your watch has rung.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: The watch has rung for five minutes.

The Shaykh : By Allah, it appears that it rang in your head, or not? The watch... O servant of Allah, let us finish, my brother. May Allah reward you with good. Do you allow us to finish?
The student: Good places need guidance...

The Shaykh : How do you mean? Do we stop or do we continue?
The student: Continue, O Shaykh.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Good, yes, we stop here. By Allah, O servant of Allah, you may have work tonight.
... These are the remaining verses explaining the belief of the people of the Sunnah and the community regarding the speech of Allah the Exalted, the Qur'an. And it has preceded us that they believe that the Qur'an is the speech of Allah, revealed,
The student: Not created.

The Shaykh : not created, from which it began,
The student: and to which it returns.

The Shaykh : and to which it returns, and that Allah the Exalted spoke with it in reality and cast it down to Jibril, and Jibril descended with it upon the heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Yes, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) comprehended it, memorized it, and conveyed it to the people pure and unadulterated. And the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) received it, and they are the best of trustworthy people regarding the law of Allah, and they conveyed it to the Tabi'un pure and safe. And thus the nation transmitted it, generation after generation, the young taking it from the old, until now, and praise be to Allah, it is in our hands, we read it as it was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). For the Lord, in whose hand is the dominion of all things and who is capable of all things, undertook to preserve it, and He said:
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian. إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون
[Al-Hijr 15:9]
And no book revealed to a messenger has been preserved as this Qur'an has been preserved. And that is from the wisdom and mercy of Allah, for this religion will remain until the Day of Resurrection. And if it were decreed that someone was unleashed upon the Qur'an, the religion would not remain, for the religion is preserved by the preservation of its Book. So this Qur'an came, and praise be to Allah, in the form of mass transmission (mutawatir), for which there is no parallel in the world, and nothing will be found, as far as we know, whose transmission is mass-transmitted as the transmission of the Qur'an is mass-transmitted, is that not so?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : The books now, the copies of the Qur'an, praise be to Allah, are in every place, in abundance and spread, without parallel, and in the chests as well. And no one can attempt to diminish a single letter from it except that the young will deny it before the old, for this law will remain until the Day of Resurrection. The previous law was unleashed upon its books by those who were unleashed, those who distorted them, for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) knew that He would send a Prophet who would abrogate all these religions and clarify the truth in what they brought of falsehood.
