The ruling on one who says: Labbaik, 'Umrah, intending to combine it with Hajj, but only wants the 'Umrah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: I arrived at the miqat with my family, and I was the eldest among them and knew them the rites of Hajj. I forgot and said in the talbiyah: "Labbaik Allahumma 'Umrah, intending to combine it with Hajj," while we only wanted an 'Umrah in Ramadan. I did not remember until we reached the Holy House. Please inform us: are we required to stay in Makkah until we perform Hajj, or are we required to offer a sacrifice and return to our families?

Answer: You owe nothing for that, and it does not harm you. You are only required to perform the 'Umrah for which you entered the state of ihram. You are not required to stay until Hajj, nor are you required to offer a fidyah. Rather, all of that is void and nothing results from it.
