The ruling on one who travels and does not complete the farewell tawaf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: An elderly woman has the farewell tawaf due to her, but she performed three circuits and did not complete the rest due to her fatigue, the severe crowding during Hajj, and the proximity of her flight departure time. What is obligatory for her? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer: It is obligatory for every person in the state of ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah to perform the obligatory tawaf, even if carried or in a vehicle, and it is not permissible for him to leave the tawaf or any part of it, and likewise sa'y. This is based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Surat al-Taghabun: 16]. And because it is established from Umm Salimah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of her inability to perform tawaf on foot due to her illness, so he ordered her to perform tawaf while riding. If a man or woman travels and has not performed the farewell tawaf after Hajj, he must repent to Allah the Exalted along with paying the fidyah, which is a sacrificial animal slaughtered in Mecca and distributed to the poor. What suffices in it is what suffices in the 'Id sacrifice, namely one head of sheep, or one-seventh of a camel, or one-seventh of a cow. And success is from Allah.
