The ruling on one who is compelled by circumstances to work in banks and financial institutions

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the ruling on one who is compelled by circumstances to work in the local banks present in the Kingdom; such as the National Commercial Bank, Bank of Riyadh, Bank al-Jazirah, the Arab National Bank, Al-Rajhi Company for Currency Exchange and Trade, Al-Ka'aki Office for Currency Exchange, the Saudi American Bank, and other local banks.
It is known that they open savings accounts for customers, and the employee holds a clerical position, such as: an accountant, an auditor, a switchboard operator, or other administrative positions. These banks have many benefits that attract employees to them; such as: a housing allowance equivalent to approximately twelve thousand riyals or more, and two months' salaries at the end of the year. So what is the ruling on that?

Answer: Working in interest-based banks is not permissible; because of what is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in:
cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, and one who records it, and the two witnesses, and he said: They are all equal.لعن آكل الربا، وموكله، وكاتبه، وشاهديه، وقال: " هم سواء
Sahih Muslim 1598
. It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih, and because of what is in it of cooperation in sin and aggression. And Allah the Exalted said:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
