Ruling on taking a substitute for a secondment without fulfilling it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question : My colleague and I were seconded to one of the regions for a period of four days, but I did not go with my colleague and remained at my post. After a while, I received the payment for that secondment. Is it permissible for me to spend it or not? And if it is not permissible for me to take it, is it permissible to use it for the supplies of the office where I work?

Answer: It is obligatory for you to return it, because you do not deserve it since you did not carry out the secondment. If that is not possible, it is obligatory to spend it in some avenues of good, such as charity for the poor or contributing to some charitable projects, along with repentance and seeking forgiveness, and being careful not to return to such a thing.
