Directing a menstruating woman in matters other than intercourse

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: If there is a menstruating woman and her husband wants to take pleasure from her, but she is afraid that the pleasure will extend to what is forbidden, so she keeps her distance from him during the time of pleasure, is she considered defiant?

Answer: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Do everything except intercourseاصنعوا كل شيء إلا النكاح
Sahih Muslim 302
with a menstruating woman, so he may take pleasure by sleeping with her and kissing her, without intercourse. If she knows that he is lenient, there is no harm in her keeping her distance from him so that the forbidden crime does not occur, if she knows of his leniency and lack of religion. But if she knows of him otherwise, there is no harm in his taking pleasure from her, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Do everything except sexual intercourse.اصنعوا كل شيء إلا الجماع
Sunan Ibn Majah 644Sahih (Darussalam)
