A1: It is forbidden for a man to have intercourse with his wife during menstruation, but it is permissible for him to have physical contact with her in any place other than the vagina and the anus; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih Muslim 302 narrated by Muslim in (his Sahih). It is recommended for him, when having physical contact, to order her to wear a waistband, so that he may have contact with her in the area above it; based on the hadith
of A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:Bulugh al-Maram 145 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
