Ruling on investing a deposit without the owner's knowledge

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A person deposited money with me, so I benefited from this money and invested it. When the owner of the money came to me, I returned his money in full, but I did not inform him of what I had benefited from his money. Is my action permissible or not?

Answer: If someone deposits a deposit with you, you have no right to dispose of it except with his permission, and you must preserve it in the manner in which its like is preserved. If you dispose of it without his permission, you must seek his forgiveness. If he forgives you, that is fine; otherwise, give him the profit of his money, or reach an agreement with him on half or some other amount. Reconciliation is permissible among Muslims, except for a reconciliation that makes the lawful forbidden or the forbidden lawful.
