A woman whose husband had intercourse with her during the day in Ramadan, while he was fasting and she was not fasting due to pregnancy: what is the ruling?

The questioner : A woman whose husband had intercourse with her during the day in Ramadan, while he was fasting and she was not fasting due to pregnancy; the ruling here: are they both rewarded?

The Shaykh : As for the husband, he has committed a sin. He must repent to Allah and expiate by freeing a slave. If he cannot find one, he must fast for two consecutive months. If he is unable to do so, he must feed sixty poor people.
As for the woman, she owes nothing because she was not fasting.
