The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said, regarding what he quoted from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said, reporting from his Lord (Mighty and Majestic):Sahih al-Bukhari 6424 : This hadith is narrated by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from Allah, and the scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) call this category of hadith: the qudsi hadith, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated it from Allah.
Allah the Exalted said:Sahih al-Bukhari 6424 The beloved one: the person whom a human chooses and selects from a child, brother, uncle, father, mother, or friend. The important thing is the person whom a human chooses and selects and sees as having a strong bond with him. If Allah (Mighty and Majestic) takes him and the person has patience, then he has no reward except Paradise. In this is evidence of the virtue of patience when the beloved one is taken from this world, and that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) rewards the person who has patience with Paradise. In it is also evidence of the favor of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and His generosity toward His servants, for the kingdom is His kingdom and the command is His command, and you and your beloved one, both of you, belong to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And yet, if Allah takes the beloved one of a person and he has patience, then he has this great reward.
In this hadith, there are also benefits: the indication of the actions of Allah. And there is no doubt that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is the Doer of what He wills. But it is obligatory for us to know that the action of Allah the Exalted is all good. Evil is never attributed to Allah. And if evil occurs, it occurs in the created things, not in the action. For example: if Allah decrees for a person what he dislikes, there is no doubt that what he dislikes is evil for him. But the evil is in this decree, not in the decree of Allah, for Allah the Exalted does not decree it except for a great wisdom, either for the one upon whom it is decreed, or for the creation in general. Sometimes the wisdom is specific to the one upon whom it is decreed, and sometimes it is for the creation in general. If Allah decrees evil for a person and he has patience and has patience, he attains thereby good. If Allah decrees evil for a person and he turns to his Lord because of this matter, for a person who is always in blessing may forget to thank the Bestower (Mighty and Majestic) and not turn to Allah. So when he is struck with hardship, he remembers and turns to his Lord (Glorified and Exalted is He), and there is a great benefit for him in that. As for the others, if this decree upon a person harms him, others may benefit from it. Let us give an example of a man who has a house of clay. Allah sent heavy, continuous rain. The owner of this house is harmed, but the general benefit for the people is a benefit they enjoy. So this became evil for one person and good for others. And yet, its being evil for this person is a relative matter, for it is evil from one aspect but good for him from another aspect. He takes a lesson and knows that the refuge is Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and there is no refuge except to Him. So he benefits from this more than the harm that befell him.
The important thing is that the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned this hadith in the chapter of patience, because there is a great benefit in it regarding the fact that if a person has patience when Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) takes his beloved one, he has no reward except Paradise. And Allah is the One who grants success.

I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward).
ما لعبدي المؤمن إذا قبضت صفيه من الدنيا ثم احتسبه جزاء إلا الجنةAllah the Exalted said:
