Reading the statement of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding what he transmitted: "

The Shaykh : Twelve tribes: The word 'sibt' means tribe among the Arabs. There is no god but Allah. This sea became twelve paths. And how long did it take for it to dry up? In an instant. It dried up in an instant
and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
[Taha 20:77]
: So Moses passed through with his people in safety and security. The water between these paths was like mountains, as if it were a standing mountain. And you know that water is a flowing substance, but by the command of Allah it stood like mountains. So much so that some scholars said: “Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, made a gap in every ridge of this water, so that the Children of Israel could see one another, lest they think their companions had perished and drowned”, so that they would be reassured. When Moses and his people finished coming out, Pharaoh and his people entered. When they were all in, Allah commanded the sea to return to its state, so it closed over them. And the Children of Israel, out of their intense fear of Pharaoh, had the thought in their hearts that Pharaoh had not drowned. So Allah displayed the body of Pharaoh on the surface of the water, saying:
So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign
[Yunus 10:92]
: Until they saw it with their own eyes and were reassured that the man had perished. So reflect, my brother, on these three nations who were at the height of tyranny. How did Allah, Mighty and Majestic, take them, and how did He destroy them with what they boasted of? They said: Who is stronger than us in power? They were destroyed by what? By the wind, gentle and easy.
The Shaykh: The people of Salih were destroyed by the earthquake and the shout.
The Shaykh: Pharaoh was destroyed by water, by drowning. And he boasted of the water, saying to his people:
does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see? (52) Or am I [not] better than this one who is insignificant
[Az-Zukhruf 43:51-52]
meaning Moses
and hardly makes himself clear? (53) Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?"
[Az-Zukhruf 43:52-53]
So Allah, the Exalted, drowned him with water. This is a summary of what this noble verse points to:
Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
[Al-Fajr 89:14]
, and allow us if we have prolonged this for you, for the occasion requires it, and Allah knows best.
The reader: He said -may Allah have mercy on him-: “From 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) one day, a man appeared to us, intensely white in his garments and intensely black in his hair. No trace of travel was seen on him, and none of us recognized him, until he sat down with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), leaning his knees against his knees and placing his hands on his thighs. And he said: O Muhammad, inform me about Islam?
