The reader: The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted:
"From Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: A man passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said to a man sitting with him: "What do you think of this man?" The man, who was from the nobles of the people, said: "By Allah, this man is likely to be married if he proposes, and to have his intercession accepted if he intercedes." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. Then another man passed by, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "What do you think of this man?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is a man from the poor Muslims. He is likely not to be married if he proposes, not to have his intercession accepted if he intercedes, and not to be listened to if he speaks." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This man is better than a full earth of men like that one."
