Allah the Exalted said:[Ali 'Imran 3:92].
And Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:267].
And Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) was the most wealthy of the Ansar in Madinah in terms of date palms, and his most beloved property to him was Bayrha', which faced the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter it and drink from its sweet water. Anas said: When this verse was revealed, 'You will not attain righteousness until you spend from what you love,' Abu Talhah came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah the Exalted has revealed to you: 'You will not attain righteousness until you spend from what you love.' And my most beloved property to me is Bayrha', and it is a charity for Allah the Exalted, and I hope for its goodness and its store with Allah the Exalted. So place it, O Messenger of Allah, where Allah directs you. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Good, that is a profitable wealth, that is a profitable wealth. I have heard what you said, and I see that you should make it for the close relatives.' Abu Talhah said: I will do so, O Messenger of Allah. So Abu Talhah distributed it among his relatives and his paternal uncles' sons., agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim".
