The Ruling on One Who Works in the Depiction of Women and Men

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man who works in the depiction of women and men?

Answer:
This is reprehensible, and his earnings are corrupt.
Q: Is it permissible to eat from his slaughter?
The Shaykh: If it is from this type of earnings, no. But if he has other earnings, there is no harm.
Q: If he has other earnings?
The Shaykh: There is no harm, just as the Jews have other earnings, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate their food.
Q: What is the ruling on associating with him?
The Shaykh: He should be advised and directed to good, like other sinners. He should not be taken as a friend or a close associate. He should be advised that this is not permissible. O servant of Allah, may Allah reward you with good. Fear Allah. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the image-makers.
