Is lengthening the supplication part of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) way?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Was lengthening the supplication part of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) way? Some imams lengthen the supplication, saying:
Let him choose from the supplications whatever he wishesليتخير مِن الدعاء ما شاء
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:238
?

Answer:
It should be like what Aisha said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred concise supplications and left aside what was other than that.” One should seek out comprehensive supplications in his qunut and in his prayer for rain, without making it burdensome for the people.
Q: What is best in prostration?
The Shaykh: In prostration, one makes supplication. Among the causes of supplication being answered is supplication in prostration and at the end of the prayer before the taslim. All of these are times when supplication is answered.
