The ruling on one who makes a pact and then breaks it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I and another person made a pact not to smoke shisha, but we broke the pact. Is there anything required of us?

Answer:
You must repent to Allah and turn back to Allah, and beware of smoking shisha; for it is foul and harmful. So you must repent to Allah and not return to it. And if you swore an oath not to smoke it, you owe an expiation for the oath.
