Does treatment and healing with the Qur'an cure organic diseases, such as cancer, just as it cures spiritual diseases, such as the evil eye and possession, and others? Is there evidence for this? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
The Qur'an and supplication contain healing from all evil, by the permission of Allah. The evidence for this is abundant, including His saying, the Exalted: [Surat al-Fussilat: 44], and His saying, the Glorious: [Surat al-Isra: 82].
And when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with something, he would recite Surat[Al-Ikhlas 112:1] and (the two protective surahs) three times into his hands when going to sleep, then wipe over as much of his body as he could in each instance; starting with his head, face, and chest in each instance when going to sleep, as the hadith is authentic from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding this.
