The Shaykh : And airplanes, docile camels, and the like.
[Az-Zukhruf 43:13] : After being settled, you remember the favor of Allah by what He has made easy for you of what He created of livestock, and of what He taught you of ships, and you say: [Az-Zukhruf 43:13-14] You say: [Az-Zukhruf 43:13] : What comes to mind for a person to say is: "Praise be to Allah who has subjected this to us," but he was commanded to say: [Az-Zukhruf 43:13] Why? Because indicates glorification, meaning the glorification of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) from need and from deficiency. So it is as if a person feels, when he rides on this ship or livestock, that he is in need of it, seeking its help for his needs. So he glorifies Allah (Mighty and Majestic), who is free from need of all His creation (Exalted and Majestic is He). So glorification (tasbih) is more appropriate in this context, even though the Sunnah came that one praises Allah. But we are speaking about this verse: [Az-Zukhruf 43:13] meaning: we were not able to bear it unless Allah subjected it: that is, made it docile, as Allah the Exalted said in another verse: [Ya-Sin 36:72] .
Have you seen if this large, strong, and active camel had not been subjected, could we control it? Could we manage it? The answer is: No, because there are beasts of prey far smaller than it that we cannot control. But Allah has subjected for us this which we ride, until even a small boy takes the rein of the she-camel and leads it wherever he wishes. This is from the subjection and making docile of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)[Az-Zukhruf 43:13] meaning: able to bear, : This phrase is a great phrase. It is as if when a person rides as a traveler on this docile animal or ship, he remembers the final journey from this world, which is the journey of the person to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). When he dies and people carry him on their shoulders, he remembers and says: (Exalted and Majestic is He). So the return is to Allah. And Allah the Exalted says in His noble Book: [Al-Inshiqaq 84:6] striving to your Lord: He did not say "to your Lord" but "to your Lord," meaning: your destination and the destination of your striving and your work is to Allah (Mighty and Majestic): meaning: working and returning to your Lord, : We will all meet Allah, but on what basis do we meet Allah (Mighty and Majestic)? That is the matter. The matter is on what basis do you return to Allah? And on what basis do you return to Allah?
Meaning, it does not matter to a person where he dies or when he dies. Perhaps he would like Allah to prolong his life, and to die in a sacred land, as Musa (peace be upon him) chose. But the whole matter is on what basis he dies. We ask Allah to cause us and you to die upon faith and the oneness of Allah.
This is the important thing. The important thing is on what basis you die, O human being. If you die upon good, then there is no difference between dying in your country or in another country, or in a sacred land or a non-sacred land, nor in such a month, nor in such a day, nor in such a time, night or day. The important thing is that you die upon good. , a person should, when he rides in his car or airplane, say this dhikr that came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in the hadith of Ibn 'Umar: يكبر ثلاثا ويقول : سبحان الذي سخر لنا هذا وما كنا له مقرنين وإنا إلى ربنا لمنقلبون He says the takbir three times and says: Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have been able to do so, and indeed, to our Lord we are returning , then he should remember the rest of the supplication that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) mentioned.
And reflect on this hadith, a word that indicates the encompassing knowledge of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) over everything. It says:Sunan an-Nasa'i 5501Hasan (Darussalam) : The Companion in the journey means You accompany me in my journey, making it easy for me, facilitating it for me. And You are the Guardian of the family, meaning: my guardian over my family after me, protecting them with Your care and attention. So He (Exalted and Majestic is He) is with the person in his journey and the guardian of his family, because He (Exalted and Majestic is He) encompasses everything. And Allah is the one who grants success.
and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them
Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. (14) And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return."
Exalted is He who has subjected this to us
Exalted is He who has subjected this to us
Glory be

And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.
Have you seen if this large, strong, and active camel had not been subjected, could we control it? Could we manage it? The answer is: No, because there are beasts of prey far smaller than it that we cannot control.
