The Shaykh : And among that is also: from the virtues of the Fajr prayer and the 'Asr prayer: what Jarir ibn 'Abd Allah al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: : meaning on the Day of Resurrection, the believers will see Him in Paradise just as they see the moon on the night of the full moon. The meaning is not that Allah is like the moon, for Allah is not like anything, rather He is greater and more exalted (Mighty and Majestic). And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in what is authentic from him: : But the intent of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is to liken the seeing to the seeing, meaning just as we see the moon on the night of the full moon with a true seeing in which there is no confusion, so we will see our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) just as we see this moon with a true seeing with the eye and sight without confusion.
And know that the sweetest pleasure and the most delicious pleasure for the people of Paradise—and we ask Allah to make us and you among them—is looking at the Face of Allah; nothing equals it. For this reason, He (Mighty and Majestic) said:[Yunus 10:26] The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) explained it: Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34:581 .
Al-Hasanah: a feminine superlative name, the masculine counterpart of which is Ahsan. So the increase is an increase over the best, and it is: looking at the Face of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). So when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) mentioned that we will see our Lord just as we see the moon on the night of the full moon, he said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2551Sahih (Darussalam) : And the intent is if you can, perform this prayer completely, and among that is that it is prayed in congregation, As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 2:153 : And in this is evidence that maintaining the Fajr prayer and the 'Asr prayer is among the causes of looking at the Face of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And what a great value it is, what a price and what a thing priced! Maintain the Fajr prayer and the 'Asr prayer, and you will look at Allah (Mighty and Majestic) on the Day of Resurrection in the Gardens of Pleasure. For this reason he said: As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 2:153 meaning Fajr, meaning 'Asr .
And among that is also, from the virtue of the 'Asr prayer specifically: that whoever abandons it, his deeds are nullified, because it is great, so if you abandon it, your deeds are nullified.
Some scholars have used this as evidence that whoever abandons the 'Asr prayer has committed disbelief, because deeds are not nullified except by apostasy, as He (the Exalted) said:[Al-An'am 6:88] , and He (the Exalted) said: [Al-Baqarah 2:217] , so some scholars say: specifically the 'Asr prayer, whoever abandons it has committed disbelief, and likewise whoever abandons the rest of the prayers in general has committed disbelief. And this opinion is not far from the truth, because the nullification of deeds does not occur except by disbelief and apostasy, and may Allah protect us. So in this is evidence of the great status of this prayer, the 'Asr prayer. And for this reason, Allah specified maintaining it among the other prayers, and He said: [Al-Baqarah 2:238] meaning the 'Asr prayer [Al-Baqarah 2:238] and success is from Allah.
That they were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) when he looked at the moon on the night of the full moon—the night of the fourteenth—and he said (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): You will see your Lord just as you see this moon
His veil is light; if He were to remove it, the radiance of His Face would burn whatever His sight reaches of His creation
حجابه النور لو كشفه لأحرقت سُبُحات وجهه ما انتهى إليه بصره من خلقهAnd know that the sweetest pleasure and the most delicious pleasure for the people of Paradise—and we ask Allah to make us and you among them—is looking at the Face of Allah; nothing equals it. For this reason, He (Mighty and Majestic) said:
For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra
للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادةThat it is looking at the Face of Allah

So if you are able to keep from becoming overwhelmed from prayer before the rising of the sun and before its setting, then do so.
